I have been a farmer for 50 years. Even before our government paid for every disaster that came along. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!
Farming has been my one and only occupation for 37 years, and I can not understand your cynicism toward the above posters. Just because you (and I) may have our entire livelihoods at risk to every dry spell and late or early frost does not give either of us the right to have some holier than thou attitude toward someone who farms or grows a garden for relaxation or any other reason. What is your problem, doubletrouble?
