I have a Crass like this (8 lb.,10 ga.,30 in.,Grade 2, mod/full) that was made in 1889 +/-, 13,xxx serial #, as a pigeon gun. The stock behind the tang is cracked and was reinforced with a cross pin before I acquired it. I have since further reinforced the area with acrylic glue. I shoot 8-9000 psi. smokeless loads in it and love the thing.

If the barrels are sound, then load smokeless to the proper pressure level and go forth to SLAUGHTER.
