My muddled writing made that seem like a goal. No, with the Krag, we stopped at 26 gr of 5477, which should be about 1900 fps according to the books. I won't go faster with it. But it just gave the ram swingers I was shooting at a light love tap and probably would not knock over a standing ram.

So the 2200 fps is a benchmark for the 03.
