Not sure of chamber length. Never owned a sixteen gauge, so haven't paid attention to the era when the standard changed.

Researcher's catalog pages did make me realize this is the the take down model. Ring below the barrel is to support the magazine tube and wouldn't be needed on a fixed barrel model.

Would need a spanner wrench to tighten the barrel nut each time it was re-assembled.
