That is a very fortunate combination of parts!! Congrats!! Krupp Steel Remington barrels are quite rare. They were never catalogued. If you don't mind, what is the serial number on those Krupp barrels? That stock on your CE-Grade receiver appears to be off an A-Grade. Here is a shot of the checkering pattern on a CEO-Grade with the half-pistol grip --

Agree. That gun is just begging for a butt transplant to modern dimensions to your specs as well as to decrease felt recoil. JR

Nothing wrong with a parts gun, especially THAT one! Any parts gun that shoots pleases me more than a stack of parts that won't....
You did get very lucky in the parts lottery, tho. I never get matches like that with relatively high grade gun parts. Sometimes with economy shotguns, but never with anything more exciting that a Stevens 5100 or a Winchester Model 37.
And JR is right: if you shot high-base equivalent shells in that, you'd feel it. Probably no good reason to, tho.

Researcher The serial numbers are 140667. Charlie Semmer wrote them up when he did an article on my EEO in DGJ several years ago. Yes the butt stock is most definitely not from a C grade but it works for shooting clays.

I bought an A grade action after I bought the barrels and they almost fit. I did not want to alter the barrels in any way and lucked out when I bought the C grade action as they fit perfectly. I do not plan on shooting anything other than 7/8 oz 12 gauge loads in this shotgun as several surgeries I have had have made me somewhat sensitive to recoil. I enjoy shooting it the way it is so I doubt I will go to the expense of having it restocked.
