That's a really nice Parker, Huntermn. I think the early D grade engraving was by far the best they ever did. And what's really fun is those late 80's and early 90's guns did not have standardized engraving so all sorts of unexpected delights will pop up. I see it's a one frame gun. It should be a great quail gun.

Thanks Joe! This will probably see work on high passer whitewings and E doves in the valley this fall.

Nice find. Should be fun for another few generations. You might consider having it serviced by someone trustworthy.

That's a really nice gun - lucky you. If everything works as it should, leave well enough alone. Just shoot and enjoy it. Happy hunting.

Thanks to all! Chuck......that is one scary photo, and when i take the gun to Kirk to discuss the rib....i will definitely get him to check the rest out. I have also discovered that the gun may have been designed for Brass Hulls, as there is a definite ridge in the chamber at "between" 2 11/16" and 2 3/4", a rolled card slipped into the chamber makes a HARD stop....not a jammed up stop, and the ridge is quite visible from the breech, i will have Kirk check that as well as I really wish to shoot this gun. Although with all of that said.....with the current condition of the gun amd screws, part of me agrees with some of those inputing....to shoot and enjoy for now. Thanks agen from the Lone Star State!!!
