Feral pigeons used to be a problem in and around NYC. Air rats, people called them.
Then the NY and NJ fish and game departments put some peregrine falcons on the tops of tall buildings. They stayed; seem to like it. The pigeons, not so much.
Of course, hunting them in the cities would not go over well, so falcons are a good solution there. I don't see much problem for you, outside built-up areas, whacking as many, when, and how as your fish and game department will allow. Just don't take more than you can use.
Nice Parker, too. Good to see one out, doing what it was meant to do.
