And then there're the fast tops'l schooners like Pride of Baltimore, or maybe it's Pride II by now as the original recreation sank. Human cargo, perishable, a need for speed--thus the Baltimore Clipper. Any boat can have a clipper hull, even a flat-bottom skiff. Narrow beam for the waterline length.

Been there done that many times. I was also at the launching of the Pride of Baltimore II, which of course is a much smaller ship and a different class, but still a joy to visit. I've also visited the Constitution up in Boston many years ago when I was a kid.

I believe the Bluenose racing fisherman Bluenose was the "We're Here in the movie version of Stevenson's "Captains Courageous". Could be wrong.
