I have a Remington 1889 Grade 3 that has a Rt bore diameter of .744 with a choke of .700 (.44 extra full). And a Lt bore diameter of .745 with a choke of .703 (.42 extra full).

My question is. My Fox & Parker both have a bore diameter of .731, both barrels. Does the bore diameter play a difference in the choke size?

My Galazan 12/20 Choke Gauge says that my Remington 1889 has a choke of modified, both barrels. However I have a Precision Skeets Gun Shop gauge & that is where I come up with the numbers above.
