With the cheekpiece and horn grip I thought it was a German guild gun perhaps? The barrels are steel. The only markings on the watertable is 111 which are also on the barrels and forearm. She's a mysterious lady confused

Another question I have is what type of horn was used in making the grip?

Thanks for the opinions on her origin.

With the tubes being early, I'm curious if they were sourced from Birmingham but I can't make out any British ciphers.

If the gun is German and pre early 1893, there won't be actual proof marks. If there is a "crown V"on the top. the gun was "in stock" on the day the law came in to effect.

The mark below the large E that is stamped very deep is the same as the lightly stamped one to the right of the Sauer man with club on the firearm ellenbr posted pics of. The one that looks like it has S's on either side, a crown above and crossed swords below.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Indeed, S&S over crossed swords all surmounted by a crown. The horn was sourced from Asia being Water Buffalo horn.

So my little Belgium beauty is really a German Fraulein grin. I've christened her Greta. Thanks oskar & everyone else for clearing up the mystery of her history for me.
