I had the pleasure of meeting Kevin on Saturday. In fact, I spent pretty much the whole day getting to know him as we shot the 50-bird course twice. His Fox is gorgeous and, of course, the awesome engraving is best admired in the flesh. Kevin has been saying the gun is a bit muzzle light for his taste and he did struggle a bit at first. The squad teased him about not taking a second shot at his missed singles. He said it was a "psychological" thing; he's just hasn't encountered many singles in sporting clay menus and he wasn't wired for a second shot. Once he got with the program, he smashed a few singles with his second barrel out around 35-40 yds. He certainly made steady progress as he got more familiar with it and I don't think you make long shots like that without some "connection" to your gun. I know he's determined to have the butt lightened and I'll sure be interested to hear how that turns out.
Nice meetin' ya, BigKev!
