Whot surprises me is that not many here, aside from Dig & a few others, seem to grasp the ease of movement and enjoyment that comes from shooting one of the classic 6# Brit game guns w/28 gram or less loads. Not really speaking to individuals as much as to manufacturers. You'd think that a configuration that evolved over many decades, admittedly over driven game providing fast overhead and on the ground shooting, just might make good sense for sporty clays, eh?
Nope, the 'any mount' [pre-mounted gun, for those slow to grasp] rule killed the concept. In the field, methinks it retains good value, but whot maker, aside from CSM w/the introductory RBL-20 has had the guts to go there in the present?
