Okay...when i said heavy,! 1 " ahead of the forcing cone is .328, 1" from muzzle is .051. I was wrong on chamber, it is 3"' (didnt have the feeler locked). Next thing is that although definitely a Grade 3 ( and so marked), the fine engraving of the setter and pointer on the sides, and the duck on the bottom are extremely fine with a LOT of fine detail surrounding them. All of the screws, including the buttplate are very nicely engraved. With the exception that the gun came with a broken hammer, i am excited about this one. There is surface rust on barrels, and oil soaking and flattened super fine checkering, so going the restoration route. There is a safety, but really thinking Pigeon gun now.
