I always inspect Ithaca 37s in used gun racks. I have kept one shotgun and it is old 37 with 30" full choke barrel. It was once owned by US Government shipped sometime in 1942 to Raritan Arsenal, Metuchen, NJ. While I don't hunt or shoot at anything with shotgun anymore that one was Interesting enough gun for me to buy and keep. Interestingly it has very good balance and handling for mass produced weapon of this type. The weight empty is just 6lb9oz which is not a lot for 12ga with 30 barrels.

I think if you would give him his money back he will shut up and I don't know Dave from Adams house cat .
He's using Giarrads law of 250.

But you do what you want.

I bought a gun that needed restocking on purpose. I did that because it was price as such and I was after a 15-1/2" LOP so I knew a restock would be in order anyway.

Was that the one that you had to wait for the stockmaker's kids to graduate from college to get your money back?

Stockmakers are funny people.

Best,
Ted

Yes, good memory....but to be clear I never got my money back and I assume Junior has either graduated college or dropped out by now.....

We need at least 31 guns for every day of the month and 32 might be a better number since one or two might break ! Bobby

Five years. Did it occur to the owner that the stocker is not interested in the job? I understand being patient but that is too long. I bet 20% of marriages are less than five years. Wait, is he trying to hide maritial assets by storing them at the stockers? Maybe he is not being patient but is being brilliant instead.
