Lindner/Daly was the only maker in Suhl that I'm aware of that paid the Schillings for the APUN. Sauer waited until the patent protection period expired for the A&D Body Action(with or without intercepting scears) before they adopted they A&D Body Action as their workhorse platform. Then Kerner added his 2 cents to the design(Kerner-Anson) and voilà you have the platform that the bulk of the German makers adopted.
