I have mentioned this before, in a thread about pressures, but I know a guy who had a cheap imported 12 ga. double gun, with 2 3/4" chambers. He thought it was great fun to get his likkered up buddies to shoot two 3" magnum loads in it at the same time. This took place numerous times, until he got rid of the gun (for kicking too hard? crazy). The gun never exhibited any symptoms of extreme recoil or chamber pressure overload.

Aside from the obvious stupidity involved here, the amazing thing is that the gun is still in one piece, on face, with tight wood. Modern steels are unbelievably tough. It was a Boito, IIRC.
