After handling them at the NRA convention I liked the handling of the baby Model 23 Classics so much that I got them both during 1986. They must fit me pretty well as I do quite good with them at skeet, even though the .410-bore is choked Modified and full, and the 28-gauge holds the distinction of being the only 28-gauge gun I ever ran a 100 straight with. They are much better if they are the first guns I shoot on a given day. If I shoot something with nice crisp trigger pulls first, the Model 23's spongy trigger is pretty noticeable!!
