Hello there:
I have come upon an O/U that befuddles me. It is an in-the-white O/U marked Pedersen Custom Gun Co. I am all but certain that it was built by Beretta for this division of Mossberg some time ago.
In researching the Pedersen name, I did determine that guns were built in Spain and Italy. Seems that SxS, pumps and a few O/U guns were produced. This Pedersen division had nothing to do with the Pedersen that was a rifle builder and made tools.
I have inquiries into both Beretta and Mossberg in an attempt to learn more about this gun. So far the silence is deafening.
Can anyone throw any light on this O/U and am I correct in the possibility that guns in-the-white were available for custom finish by this branch of Mossberg or other custom makers?
In other words---What gives here????
