I'm with Pete on the light guns for rough hunting. Normally I don't like anything less than 6 1/2 pounds for hunting and for clays I prefer 7 pounds or a little more. But when the birds are trying to kill you, like here in Hell's Canyon in Idaho I really like my Webley 700 12 gauge weighing exactly 6 pounds. Deadly on birds--not on me. Less than 6 pounds I just can't handle though they're cute.
