My reference books have him out of business @ 1860 Hard to know when gun was made as Krider copied many gun actions -this is the only gun of his I have seen with proof marks and they are only on the BBLS This gun is about as mint as it can be-with "hard" vivid case colors-if ever fired was fired very little Thanks for the info Bill J W McPhail
