Here's the result of multiple proofs over the years on a circa 1906 gun. Darn hard to make out the 70MM stamped over the 2 1/2 chamber mark and the LP over the 01 near the breach.

I thought it had poodle in it but didn't know if it was a cross. I used to hunt rabbits with a friend with a pack of dogs consisting of one black Poodle, one Jack Russell terrier and a Pekinese Terrier cross. A game little pack. Lagopus.....
