I have determined that life would be simpler if I didn't carry a range bag (Ok, more like an army surplus knapsack) around the sporting clays course, which I am constantly picking up and putting down and which tends to gather useless other junk. Generally, I am not a cart guy and I am getting sick of carrying lots of stuff around.
Accordingly, I have decided to try a 100 shell capacity "speed bag" style cartridge bag for sporting clays. I expect to keep the speed bag across my shoulder at all times, which means less fuss and a free hand.
So, I am looking for a reasonably priced, good quality, 100 shell capacity speed bag. Any suggestions on brands or where to buy?
Griffin & Howe and Anglo America sell what appear to be nice ones, although they cost slightly more than I was hoping to spend. Let me know if anyone has experience with the ones from those two places.
Also, what do you think generally of my plan? 100 shells across my shoulder may be a bit heavy, but I think it will lighten up relatively quickly. Next, I will have to think of a way to deal with the controller and clipboard.
