I bought 8 of the red london guns pads on ebay a while back, they didn't have any plugs but were cheap. They are BIG almost 6" x 2". Kind of hard to fit because of their softness. I don't need that many, if some of you can't live without one contact me.

The information I heard is that by 1923 Parker was ordinarily using the DHBP without the spurr though ocassionaly one sees one with the spur. I have seen speculation that they were probably using the sput at that time only when requested and continued until they ran out of those plates with the spur.

Thats a shame!!!! I used London Guns Red Recoil Pads for more than 15 yrs.On checking my Inventory...2 left!!!! I installed them on Briish Guns & Rifles, they were the best for the All Original Look' It was even possible to 'Burn them Off" just as the Real Gunmakers used to do.I know that a couple of my Original Victorian Era "Weapons" past 'Muster' at one of the Auctions some time back!!!!!!!100% All OriginalCondition..!!! Now I wish I had stocked up back when I had the chance! CC.

CC, what do you mean by "burned off?" And is this something that can be done to the Galazan's pad.

James, I would be interested in the London pads. I can be reached at mark@mbabllc.com . Let me know what you want, how many you have for sale and where to send funds.
