I have an acquaintance who has asked me about a double barrel muzzleloading shotgun. It's typical for the mid to late 19th century double guns. A very few inlays, back action locks, what appears to me to be the regular flat top checkering. I think it has a definite British appearance. My question is does anyone have any information on a maker by the name of "Bentley & Son". I have nothing in my sources but admittedly mine are mostly about rifles. Any help appreciated.
