I would appreciate others comments on this. It was very frustrating to discover this.
A friend of mine mentioned last week that he has checked the shot sized of Rio and Kemen and they were not as described. He said the 7 1/2s miked out at .09 which is an 8 instead of a 7 1/2 which is .095. I came home and did the same . I took a box of Rio 71/2s and took shot out and checked it. It miked out at .09 which is the American # 8 size. I also miked an American Brand 7 1/2 and it came out at .095 which is right for a 7 1/2 . SO, it appears that Rio and Kemen are loading both their 7 1/2s with 8 shot. I have also checked Rio # 8 shot, and they mike .085 which is the American # 8 1/2 size.
