I took two ruffs this weekend and thought the board might be interested in the results. I used a CZ Ringneck sxs in 20 gauge, choked cyinder and improved cylinder. I thought I had packed 7-1/2 shot, but later I discovered I packed #6 shot.
The gun worked flawlessly. I shot grouse #1 at 10 feet and grouse #2 at 90 feet. The 10' took most if it in the head and the 90' grouse got hit in the back. Both breast were in good shape and quite tasty with lemon and pepper, I might add.

The load was federal #6 1oz 2-1/2 dram eq. I was just amazed that it had a thick enough pattern @ 30 yards to do such a good job. This is the first time I have used such open chokes and recommend the set-up to anyone. IM
