Had the pleasure of shooting a couple boxes of Polywad 2 1/2" low-pressure rounds through it the last couple of days. I would like to clean the wood, removing wax build up and dirt. What is the method you folks use to do so, without harming the underlying finish? Also, I would like to remove the trigger plate, without harming or losing anything, because I believe that this gun might have cleaned rarely, if that, and I'll like to take care of that.
