Steve, I cannot give any accurate information, but Remington, with their Model 1875, had a few guns maybe made in England with British proofs. These guns were more of an English gun weight and finely finished. The Model 1875 that I have is about a grade 5 with Englislh scroll and the Deeley and Edge for end release that I have seen only on the London marked Model 1875s. I'm out of the country for a coupe of weeks, but would be glad to look closer when I get home.
