Gentlemen,

I have a Parker VH with 28" barrels, SN #206040. Someone had shortened the stock then lengthened it with wood incorrect in too many ways. I have found appropriate wood to redo the job and want to get the butt plate correct. Would the original butt plate have been one with a spur or would it have been a flat plate? What recoil pad would be appropriate for a gun of this age (1923) in case I decide to go that route?

Thanks you much,
Michael
