Has anyone ever seen a brazed rib come loose? The lower grade, non monoblock Darnes had brazed barrels, and while I recall a few of them in the rack for repair when I was in St. Etienne, I don't believe any had loose ribs.
There was a V grade monoblock gun with a loose rib, but, it was a silver soldered rib. Repair to that gun would have been typical method.
My Uggy has a brazed rib. If it got loose and needed repair, I might throw it away. But, that would be a tougher question on a gun like a Browning sidelock.
Anyone ever seen a loose brazed rib? Are they repaired when that happens?
