Just wondering if anyone knows much about a Hopkins Allen Grade AA Hammerless Double built about 1902 this gun has great wood , fine checkering and engraving...... 16 gauge with 26 inch barrels and chocked IC and IMP MOD a very classic piece. I know the gun had retailed about $125.00 in 1902 when the average salaries were $425.00 yearly. This gun was produced to market against the Parkers , LC Smith , and fine Remington's of that time.... looking forward to your replies cold in Nova Scotia

These hammerless side by sides were introduced by Forehand Arms Co. but they went under and were taken over by Hopkins & Allen Arms Co. which showed these Forehand Models in their 1901 and 1902 catalogues.



By H & A's 1908 catalogue they were no longer called the Forehand Model and the highest grade they showed was $30.
