Had a chance to shoot my newly acquired Ithaca 4E SBT this weekend. Everything was great, except the ejector didn't function. Upon examination, it appears that the end of what I would call the ejector sear is broken or worn off and doesn't protrude past the end of the forend iron where it rides on the receiver. I can trip the ejector by putting a small screwdriver inside the iron and tripping the sear. Anyone know where I can get a replacement sear? If not, I'm sure I can make one, but need to verify some assumptions since I don't have a good one to examine. It looks like the end of the sear rides in the vertical slot in the end of the receiver and then trips when it hits the bottom of the slot as the gun is almost all the way opened. I would also assume that the sear should protrude into the slot as far as possible without bottoming out in the slot. I dont know if the protrusion is round or square (maybe I'll be able to tell once it is removed). Do I have it right? Any tricks to disassembly or reassembly? Thanks for any help. Bill
