No, i do not have a galazan. I own three different leather shell bags, all beautiful and functional. In the whole time i have owned them i have almost never used them other than for sporting clays and a couple of tower shots. I prefer a vest when hunting upland, and a shooting box for ducks and dove.
I think they are beautiful and i am sure i will use the one i inherited from my dad one day. But i think they really are a hunting want not need. And a nice accessory for clays.
My favourite bag has been my bag from Orvis. It is my favourite because the top hinge on the top of the bag makes it easy to carry it open.
