Too young, he will be missed. Few people have the fore sight to stick with such a dead gauge, like the 16, to see it reborn and a new generation of followers learn all about it again. His help in spreading knowledge about what was safe to use and where to find information and loading components gave many shooters a chance to fall in love with the 16. Or at least relive old memories and myths.
Some will say that the 16 is a minor niche market but isn't all the double interest just an extension of that type of small market interest. And anyone who keeps the flame alive is worth remembering. Again he and others like him will be missed.
