I completely forgot that you had written a book on locks. I just ordered it. wink

I am currently building a percussion side-lock for a project that I am working on. This is only the second lock that I have made. The first was a flint-lock. The work on my lock is going quite well. I just wondered how others went about making locks. Really wish I could have looked over the shoulder of a lock-maker about 150 years ago.
