GLS,

I have spoken with both UPS and FedEx when packages are delayed or miss shipped. I can assure you 100% that NO ONE knows whats in those packages-to avoid theft as employee theft is their biggest problem !

I had a package of 2 Colt Saa's mislabeled and sent to wrong address,I ended up on the phone with a supervisor in Huston who after a few questions, asked what was in the package-I asked if they knew and she said NO they do not !

There is NO way they could possibly keep every package that was insured that "looks like a gun" in a separate area,if they everyone would know then.
Does not happen, the clerk like most is just spouting off BS,if you want to believe it fine.

from the UPS site:
"The labeling and outer box markings on all firearms shipments should not identify the contents as containing a firearm. Labeling, including the shipper's and consignee's abbreviated names on the shipping label or air shipping document, must be non-descriptive."

with nothing on the outside of the box to indicate a firearm
how in the world do they separate them ?

And here is Fed Ex
