When I was a kid we had to stop at Waseca to go thru the closeout building, a cross between an Army Navy store, and a Swap meet. Our neighbor at home always said if you watched out for junk you could outfit a polar bear hunt, or an Amazon fishing trip. For a short time there was a clay pigeon production factory in Iowa Falls, IA on Rocksylvania Ave. and there was a closeout room there. I was always amazed how he could invent all that stuf that was " World Famous" . Have a fishing pamphlet that explains how to catch bluegills on sinkers, a reloading manual that has nothing available that wasn't model perfect and a 1972 full catalog that with everything else also has silk fabric and gem stones including diamonds.Catalogs ain't what they used to be.
