Doc:How astute of you! There are two things, you may find, to be of interest? The first is, whomever bought the scope, paid more for it than I did the rifle including, auction surcharge! The second, even by breaking the rifle into two subparts for resale, by the time he paid his fees, he barely made anything to speak of, on his investment. Personally I dislike the canabalizing tactics of this dealer, but to each his own. Thanks for the heads up...much appreciated,here in the Land of Cotton.
