Has anyone out there ever imported rifle brass from Germany?

I am trying to work with Reimer-Johannsen in Germany to get some brass for an obsolete cartridge double rifle I have. (10.75x52R Springer)

I trying to figure out if it requires an import license of some sort?

I can make the brass from 45/70 cases, but would like some proper brass with the correct headstamps etc.

Suggestion: Contact Rocky Mountain Cartridge in Worland WY at rockymountaincartridge.com
I'm sure that they can replicate your needed cartridges.

old colonel,
You should be able to shorten and fireform 8x56R Hung.Mann. cases(avaliable from Graf)to fit your rifle.
