Your best deals from Simpson's will be the one's that have had a bolt run through the stock flats. I've been down there several times and looked at them. If you're prepared to do an internal staple or pin repair, some of the guns are in fairly good condition. They did have some Merkels at one time, Model eights which they still may have, but they still have quite a few post war Ernst Thalmann guns reasonably priced, and the folks over on the German board say that their quality is good. No doubt someone here will jump in and give their opinion on them.
