Gents,
I should have been a little more forthcoming on the gun. My past employment had me working alongside Bailey Bradshaw building his rifle line. Little known is we produced a prototype of our interpretation of a WR droplock. Its not an exact clone(please note), but close none-the-less. One of the main changes in design is in the lack of the traditional WR dolls head extension with sliding bite linked on the toplever spindle. Baileys interpretation has a screw grip instead of the WR style...Still effective at doing its job as a secondary lockup to the Purdey style double underbite. Also ejector models would utilize Southgate ejectors for their simplicity.
I've since gone off on my own but have kept friendship with Bailey, he would be more than happy to provide me with rough actions from which I could produce shotguns, rifles, or multi barrel sets. Bailey would also be happy to do complete builds himself, so contact either one of us.
I'm getting a quote from him today hopefully for rough actions. I don't see why an extractor model droplock shotgun would be over $10k. A great price considering the cost of a true sub-gauge or double rifle WR.
Rifles, multi-barrel sets, ejectors, or other upgrades would be priced differently. No single trigger option available at the time. Fixed lock also available.
