Guys, a quick word about TOW 10 ga brass shells. They advertise them as fitting Parker guns. I ordered a dozen to use in my 10 ga Remington 1894 and most of them would only go into my chamber about half way. When I called the TOW guys to inquire about this, I was told that they based the size off the Parker 10 ga guns they personally owned. So I borrowed a friend's Marlin goose gun to see if they would go into it's chamber and they did. Then I ran into another guy with a Rem 1894, and those shells wouldn't fit in his chambers either.
So, I got out my dial calipers and measured the shells and compared the actual measurements to the SAAMI specs for 10 ga 2 7/8 shells. Every hull was over the SAAMI specs. While I didn't take chamber casts of my gun, I did also measure Federal hulls used in RST loads and found that the RST hulls came in a couple of thousand under SAAMI specs and slid into and out of the chambers of my gun as they should.
So, I contacted Rocky Mountain Cartridge and had them make me up a dozen shells. They are made to SAAMI specs and I've had no problems with fit or function in my gun. Oh yes, if you ask them to cut them for 209 primers, they will.
