James M Sidelock Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 7,438 Likes: 1 Arizona	A word of caution here: As Doverham has described this screw is to allow quick access to the locks for cleaning and maintenence. However every tine you remove the locks you potentially create wear on a vunerable part of the stock which are the fingers surrounding the locks. IMO: This should only be done when cleaning is absolutely necessary. Jim The 2nd Amendment IS an unalienable right.
