I did a quick check of the barrels using the Skeets bore gauge and a caliper, and the barrel thickness appears to be at least .040" and over .100" in front of the chambers with no pitting. Both barrels have a choke constriction of .032".
It is an interesting gun, but I haven't fallen in love with it. The seller wants $600 for it. I think it would cost at least $100 to have someone hammer out the dents and over $100 to have Mike Orlen open both chokes. I offered $400 which the seller did not accept.
Thanks to everyone who provided comments. This has been an interesting exercise, and even though I didn't buy it, I now know a lot more than I did about these types of guns.
