RCC, I know exactly what you are saying.

I'm in my late 60's & I'll be picking up a new pup in about 10 days. It's kind of scary to realize that when the pup is at the end of his hunting years I'll be 80 or close to it & at the end of mine if I'm lucky. The only comforting thought is that the pup & I will then be on equal terms in human years & dog years & we can keep each other company.

As far as changes in stock dimensions I don't see much change as I age except for possibly a need for slightly more down pitch.

That said, I was in my early 50's before I figured out that I needed less DAC, more DAH & a longer length of pull than most "experts" recommended so my physical changes impacting stock fit probably aren't as dramatic as they would have been if I had a proper fit in my 30's.
