Frankly I'm amazed at the naivetivity of so many of you about this sort of thing. Have you heard of Homeland Security and do you have any idea what they do? Are you aware of the international agreements covering trade in arms and explosives? You don't just ship this stuff.
Sorry, but I live near the southern border, or what used to be the border. There is no security at this border, homeland or otherwise. Arms and explosives seem to come into the country with impunity. Holder and his crew seem to move arms south with impunity. Have not paid much attention to Homeland Security since Janet Napolitano told us the borders were more secure than they had ever been. It's harder to drive from Yuma to Los Angeles (up to five Ag and Border Patrol checkpoints, depending on your route) than it is to smuggle drugs and illegals from Mexico.
Besides, Canada is more like a northern suburb than a separate country.
