I got this T&S drilling about a month ago and it seems pretty nice. I have not been able to do anything except slug the bore which measured .359.
I finally got my Cerrosafe and made a chamber cast. It is indeed 75mm long and the bullet measures .366 at the inside neck. Where the rifling starts it goes done to 355 or so. I had slugged the bore at .360 and I may need to wait a bit for the cerrosafe to stabilize. It is a straight taper case from base to neck. It really looks like a Sauer case as in 6.5x58R but it's bigger. The base is .4355 and the neck is .393. I havent' measured the rim but it is thin compared to some.
8.6/75 is the chamber marking.
What is the consensus on this cartridge?
