Has anyone ever had any experience with Eastern Insurance/firearms insurance? Good or bad?
Anyone ever had to file a claim with Eastern where Eastern had to perform?

I started purchasing their insurance a few years ago. They have been very easy and pleasant to deal with. BUT, I have (fortunately) not had to file any claims so don't have any experience with that. I have not heard any negative things about them. I do know that Mr Richardson is/was a gun collector himself.

Eastern's rates are VERY reasonable and they are nice to deal with though I have never had to file a claim.
Mr Richardson often has a table at the better gun shows in the Northeast and he is 'one of us'.

John, you mention in an earlier post that you have a policy with "travels." Did you mean "travelers"?
Agreed, its how nice they are when you actually have a claim.

I have a policy set up to cover some individual guns as well as a pool of less expensive ones with Jack. Travel with the guns is part of the coverage. I have not had to make a claim but have some peace of mind.

Hi have them also, as others have said, great to deal with, reasonable rates and I also never had a claim (and hope I don't!).
