Steve, the "Special Order Ladies Model" is a variation that exists in all makes of the classic American shotgun. It is seldom mentioned in catalogs and is often omitted from factory letters of provenance. However, it is very common (although at the same time rare) in the minds of those who own, or are attempting to sell, such shotguns. Another rare model is the "Child's Model", although it is more common in the Model 42 Winchester than in double barrel shotguns. It's most prominent feature, as in the Ladies Model, is a shorter than normal buttstock. It is my recommendation to restrict your payment for such guns to fifteen to twenty percent above the price of the standard model in any make.
