That is a pretty nice price, I don't think you could load your own for that A nice selection of shot, that 1 1/8 oz. of 5's would be a great duck and pheasant load.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

A box of high quality upland steel loads is about $15/25. Last time I checked Walmart sold Expert Steel for about $8 per box. That is why I got rid of all my old double shotguns. Excellent upland gun like Beretta Whitewing, Black Wing or Essential can be had for about $1000. For those that like extra light guns CZ used to offer and still may 6lb 12ga Turkish O/U that I have seen sell for about $500 on second hand market.

Anyone have a thought as to whether or not it would be reasonable to shoot the 2 3/4" 1 1/8 oz load in a mechanically sound Fox? The Rio web site lists the velocity at 1350fps. I have an A grade with 32" bbls that I'd like to take out duck hunting and the price of these is more appealing than the alternatives. Dave

I would like to know pressure numbers first. But even if 10-11k I might still shoot them. You are talking about a very strong gun with stout barrels. A box or two per year should be nothing to that gun. We shoot low pressure more to save the stock than the gun. Old wood and all that.
